BIG NEWS: VCBS is transitioning our app & host website platform to TeamSNAP! Our previous host was bought out, and after much research our Board has determined that TeamSnap provides superior capabilities which best fit our program's needs going forward. If you are currently registered for any 2023 Victor Community Baseball & Softball programs, you will be receiving an email containing a link to register with TeamSNAP. Follow the link, complete the registration, and you will gain access to your teams’ info. 

We HIGHLY recommend you download the TeamSNAP app to your phone/device. This app allows you to toggle between your different teams via a drop down menu at the top. Teams’ rosters and schedules are easily accessible, and you can auto-populate schedules to your personal calendar (click the upper left “” icon to do this). Additionally, many coaches use the message feature on the app to communicate with their teams. If you allow push notifications, you will be alerted to practice/game changes due to weather/unforeseen issues. The app is an extremely helpful tool.

We are pleased to announce the annual Victor Baseball Golf Tournament on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Cobblestone Creek Country Club. Registration/check-in begins at 9:00 AM with a 10:00 AM shotgun start. Golf includes an a la carte lunch and a buffet dinner and raffle tickets can also be purchased for a chance to win a variety of prizes!

 ​If you are unable to attend the golf tournament, please consider supporting Victor Baseball through one of the additional non-golf opportunities listed below or by donating a raffle item.

The Victor Little League Board of Directors consists of twelve members: four Officers and eight Directors. Each Board Member is associated with certain duties and responsibilities necessary to make Victor Little League a success.

As we enter 2022, we have THREE open Board positions. If you would like to nominate yourself (or another) to an open position, or have any questions, please email the Officers listed below. New Board Members will be voted on and seated to their positions at our 1/16/22 BOD meeting. Incoming Board Members will be thoroughly briefed and supported as they transition into their new roles.

OPEN VICTOR LITTLE LEAGUE BOARD POSITIONS

Director of Fields and Grounds – Coordinate field care, materials/supply purchasing, and any equipment rental; Maintain a relationship with VCS to coordinate maintenance and deliveries; Keep the Annex and all storage units properly stocked with Diamond Dry, chalk, etc.; Set field clean up dates and organize volunteers; Determine field conditions and communicate cancellations to pertinent parties; Coordinate with the Director of Equipment to ensure fields are properly supplied; Develop an annual area budget with the Treasurer prior to the start of the fiscal year; Communicate with the President around cancellations. 

Director of Marketing, Social Media, Special Events & Outside Vendor Relations – Coordinate and obtain volunteer help for Opening Day ceremonies, Memorial Day parade, Charity Challenge, and Red Wings Day; Interface with outside parties for individual events including local officials, fire/police, mascots, Victor Varsity Coaches/Players, Sponsors, awards, band/DJs/sound equipment etc.; Work with the Treasurer to develop a budget and monitor spending; Communicate and hype VLL events!

Director of Sponsorships and Fundraising – Acquire and renew yearly Sponsors to offset league costs; Create Sponsor Package levels and associated benefits (to be approved by the Officers) - Sponsors are solicited via former Sponsor relationships, networking and community outreach; Coordinate with League Administrators surrounding Sponsorship team/player requests; provide Sponsor information to Website and Social Media Administrators; Reconcile expected and actual funds received with the Treasurer; Oversee the ordering of sponsorship banners/materials.

-Teams have been formed by Committee, based on age and estimated skill levels. These teams have no impact on 2022 Travel Team selections.
 

-The youngest 13u registrants have been placed on 12u teams, because there are not enough players to form multiple teams at that age level, and these players are still technically 12u age-eligible.

-More details on scheduling to come soon. Please expect to have practices on Mondays or Wednesdays, and Games on Saturdays. The Fall Season will run from September through the end of October.  
 

-Players will receive a new hat and jersey.
